I am a Physical Therapist with 20 years of experience from health care.  In recent years I have been working for home health agencies and have visited many homes where elderly are struggling with daily activities.  Common difficulties include managing personal care, medications, and housekeeping.  There is often a lack of information about illnesses, falls, and knowing where to get help. 

It never stops amazing me what well coordinated efforts from various health care professionals can do and I have seen many desperate looking home situations turn into success stories.  You too can make a big impact with right information.

I have been lucky to work with wonderful people over the years (doctors, nurses, social workers, other therapists, and patients) and they have had, and still have, a big role in creation of this site.  Your ideas and input are also welcome!
